David and Cherie

My cousin, Cherie, got married on 19th Jan'08 with her then-boyfriend, David. They had their wedding held at Ritz, Las Vegas. I was sailing then, and situated at the other half of the globe, haha.. its a pity my family had to give that a skip. Nevertheless, we're looking forward to her malaysia's wedding on 25th May'08 coming 3 months time. :D

David's an A.B.C ( American Born Chinese), that explains his handsomeness. And my cousin, well, is no lesser than a natural beauty la!

She's only 23. I also wanna faster establish my finances and find 1 nice gf already..

Qinfu's dad passed away on the 5th Feb'08. Heart attack. Can't be there at the wake cos of some CNY Superstitious stuffs, my parents disapproved.

Are there really logics behind these beliefs for CNY?

-Can't go to places deemed "Dirty" because that will make you unlucky?

Am i too rational or are people just too timid to even expect some unluckiness for the rest of the year? I received and said 恭喜发财 for the past 20 years and only the ERP, Taxes, Prices all that goes higher.

I m sad i juz can't go there for a little while. To think he might be reminded of this for the coming CNYs is just heartbreaking..
