..A World of Nonsense..

Went Batam for an Operation for the past 2 days. Had a rather enjoyable time there being a millionaire. Confirmed. If you know what I mean.

The rate there is S$1 to 5880 ringgits.

Smokers: the cigarettes there cost 10,000 ringgits per pack approximately. *BLinK*

All i have was S$50 when i was there. I was thinking since going to HK..might as well dun spend too much... oh well.

There's been a bit of Incredible + unexplained events going on these few days. It is the coincidences of electrical failures that happened in a chain-reaction matter that gives me the creeps.

Tuesday - I'm doing sentry duty from 2000 to 0230. The power generator gave way, electrical supply tripped, we call it. Blackout.

Wednesday - We were given free gangway - shore leave from 1130 for the whole day. We had a free hotel room for bathing, for resting and to report back to ship before 2359. We went shopping for cigarettes.. food.. blah blah.. some buy things for gf..family..wife..whatever.

There's this hypermart, something like GIANT. And it went blackout 3 times when we're there...

Thursday - Time was 0130 in the weeeeeee hours of the morning. Ship encountered another blackout. And 2 failed attempts were made before we finally restore the power back. I was freaking concussed due to last night's beer session with the crew. I didn't get up. Actually, I don't want to get up :D

My chief had requested me to "respect" the officers, by drinking solo with them one by one. And we succeeded in making them vomit. All of them. actually, its fun. haha. Shit I could actually down 9 carlsberg bottles and still walk straight. And that makes me on the road to being a beer ghost. But i dun like beer.

We're back in Singapore base around 12pm. There's the provost conducting a sweep onboard for illegal stuffs while we're held up on the wharf to wait. I decided to take a rest in another ship, for the air-con.

The ship also power failure. Supply tripped. And this time, we juniors who went down to try and restart back, couldn't get it fixed. So, we leave it for the duty personnels to settle..not our problem actually...

I went home at around 4pm..put down my stuffs..and went out for dinner at around 7pm plus.. i went home at around 9pm..

My sis says the power tripped. And return back to normal by itself. The lights were actually still flickering when I've reached home. And after awhile, everything's back to normal.

All these gives me the creeps when I think back.

power supply tripped 9 times in these 3 days... and it tripped back to my home.
